Claudia’s Story

She wasn’t always a business owner, but she still brought her dream to life while having three kids and working full time. She used to work for HR, and was faced with a situation that completely changed her life. She had an “oh shit” moment and took some time to think about what her next step was.

She started on the interview path. Applying to jobs and doing interviews. But she realized this wasn’t going to make her happy. Her dad asked her the key question “What would you do if there were no limits?” From there she realized she wanted to be in charge of herself. Making all the decisions in her life and the time she spent with her family.

She sat down and had to really think about what she had really loved about her old job. The core of it was helping people. She really enjoyed finding solutions for people.

Sitting in her bathroom one day she saw all the products that surrounded her. She’s always been a product junkie and learning about how to keep her skin healthy and glowing. Seeing where her passionate really lied, she saw the path to become an esthetician. Combining her love of skin care and helping people into one job.

What keeps us from taking that leap to change our lives?

There’s some kind of security behind a full-time desk job. Making the leap to be completely responsible for yourself is terrifying! You’re taking a chance on yourself and the well-being of your family in some cases. The leap can be absolutely terrifying, but when faced with this you have to ask yourself “Could I do something different?”

We have to take chances sometimes in order to find our destiny. To find the thing that really gives us fulfillment in life, and gives us the life we want.

Sometimes it takes sacrifice and a crap ton of dedication to get to where we want to go. But the reward is so worth it.
