What to do when you’re not a “planner” & how it affects your time
This week in my Timemasters group, I addressed the concern that a lot of creative women have when it comes to managing their time. Make a cup of coffee or tea, and take a few minutes to reflect with me about how you can use your time to actually generate more creativity and inspiration in your life!

How do I plan when I hate planning?
A member Phyllis, pointed out that she wasn’t the “planning type”. While there are a thousand ideas bouncing around in our head, it can be hard to make a plan to get those things streamlined into a plan. Everyday life gets in the way and it can be hard to stay on track and make time for the things we are passionate about.
“How do I plan when I hate planning? How do I use my time better when I’m not a planner?”
Creative people love the brainstorming process and can find themselves pigeonholed when they are put into a routine. What I try to do with my clients is train them to think about how routine actually makes their life better. To show them how it can bring them freedom by giving them more time.
It’s a complete mindset change!
Now, this is a slow process! I’m not going to lie to you.
However, when you integrate these ideas and practice them in your everyday life, you’ll notice all kinds of free time opening up! Not only that but you’ll actually generate inspiration! Who doesn’t want that? So let’s get it together and start managing our time to be even more creative than we thought we could be!
